Naked Pictures of Famous People (Book)

Some people may see the cover and think that this is some kind of cheesy autobiography, but in actuallity it is something very unique. What this book is is a collection of “fake essays” that cover a widely various amount of topics. For example, there is a chapter on how to adequately furnish one’s vagina as told by Martha Stewart. In another, there is a take on a new way to “liven up” to Judiastic faith by taking such strides as renaming God “‘Ol Uncle Pete” and “…[giving] all Chosen Ones… a free value pack worth hundreds of dollars in discounts at participating vendors (for example, 10 percenr off any dinner at Friendly’s, with purchase of a Fishamajig sandwhich!)”

Absurd, lurid, and always over-the-top, this book has some geniune funny moments that will have you laughing out loud. Higlights include -but are not necessarily limited to- the previously mentioned “The New Judaism” essay, the tragically hilarious “A Very Hanson Christmas”, the absolutely gut-busting “Pen Pals transcript” between Princess Diana and Mother Teresa, and the strangely ironic to today’s socitey “Lack of Power: The Ford Tapes” (In his essay portraying a blitheringly incompetent Gerald Ford, you could easily insert a certain current president- who wiil go nameless - and never be able to tell the difference.)

Passers-by Call Police Over Topless Gardener

A nudist in Boulder who was threatened with eviction last spring for gardening outside wearing only pasties and a thong has caused another stir by gardening topless. At least four callers told police 52-year-old Catharine Pierce was in her yard topless on Wednesday. State law prohibits exposed genitals, but Pierce was wearing a thong and gardening gloves.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley said an officer told Pierce to consider wearing a shirt because children at the school across the street were playing outside.
Pierce’s husband then complained to police. Huntley said a police supervisor agreed with Pierce’s husband that Pierce wasn’t breaking any laws.

Boulder is considering expanding its anti-nudity law.

Peruvian Cyclists Take To Road In The Buff

Dozens of people wearing bathing suits, or nothing at all, rode bicycles through the streets of Lima to promote the use of non-motorised transportation as an alternative to the automobile as well as to defend the environment in Peru.

‘People’s attention must be attracted to make them aware about the importance of using sustainable means, like the bicycle,’ activist Octavio Zegarra said.

Zegarra is the president of Cicloaxion, the organiser of the Nudist Cycling event, held Saturday in Peru for the fifth consecutive year.

Peru needs to adopt the ‘good use’ of the automobile, a means of transportation that ‘brings dangers on the street, traffic congestion, health problems and pollution’, Zegarra told Radio Programas del Peru, or RPP.

Zegarra, a defender of the ‘bicycle culture’, also made note of the death of a cyclist Friday.

Lima, with more than eight million residents, has few bike paths, most of them following short and isolated routes.
