It might be helpful to know in advance that this DVD is primarily informational and not visual. If watching a middle-aged woman and a man talk while sitting nude with their legs folded is a visual survey of nudity, then this is “exposure.”. Nudists may find the conversation interesting, but it stays pretty basic to be especially informative. The “exposure” is all verbal, and that by itself will probably not “knock your socks off.”

This was a funny and somewhat educational book. I really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone who has a good sense of humor!

Lange has been and always was the only man with a camera in the 50’s and 60’s who knew what beauty he was really a part of. Familes , young kids in the beautiful sun, splashes of blue pools on tan bodies. This is the way Eden was and he knew his now old picutres would save for us the old freedom of familes naked from the rightest crazies of today. Like the poet Swinburn said” im running backwards as fast as I can” meaning back to youth and for him nakedness and freedom Thank you Ed Lange.

The Naked and the Lens: A Guide to Nude Photography

This book is surprisingly well written, detailed and an almost perfect guide for amateur photographers to learn the complicated style needed for nude photography. You are not just getting a book with a lot of naked pictures, mind you there are a lot, but they have context. The book is split into 3 important sections: concept, composition, taking the actual photo. There is fourth part that has some interviews with photographers and their craft. So how good are the sections? Well, they are richly detailed for the laymen, and can get anyone with a camera started in their path to being called a heathen by their local religious zealots. It takes courage to experiment for the sake of art, at least here you get a good tool in your path. It’s not a perfect tool, at times it gets muddy. The digital technique section will be out of date faster than your facebook status changes. So try to get the analog part of the work down.

Books Of Nudes (Hardcover)

This review work covers the 20th century published erotic photography collector’s books from a predominately European perspective. The individual books are described and photos of the open books are provided. There is some real historical value here. I think this may be of greatest value to collectors of rare books.

This documentary chronical’s Spencer’s “world tour.” It’s very well filmed and edited. As a nudist I was profoundly moved to see thousands and thousands of people bare themselves for his large scale public events. The photoshoots in Montreal and Melbourn are stunning.
